After many continuous years of school, I hope to strive and achieve my life goals. During these years of school, I have learned my strengths, whether it was working on projects or taking tests and quizzes. I have learned many things about myself that I did not know because of the peers around my, including my family. My greatest strength is my ability to stay focused and doing my best in school. In school, I am always focusing on work to not only get good grades, but to prove to myself that I am able to do these things and push myself even harder. I will continue these strengths at my best capability in my life after college to be successful. My source of ambition is from my family because they push me hard to be my best self and they also direct me into the right path in life. My family has been a big part of my life and I hope they continue to be because they do so much for me. In school and outside of school, I enjoy doing many things, but the one I most believe will bring me most success in life is my love for math. I love to solve and test my ability on math problems, I feel as though they are most useful in my everyday life and hopefully in my future. All though I enjoy learning about many historical events and sometimes writing, but I want to pursue a math related job, whether it is engineering or accounting. Values are an important part of my life, not only do they keep me from doing the wrong things, but encourage me to reach my highest potential. My mom and dad always told me many values ever since I was young, and they have always stuck with me. My most favorite values are to never assume anything and to always be kind to others. You never know what a person had been through or how awful their lives actually are. Being kind in the most positive way might make someone’s day better than it was before, making someone smile or laugh when they are feeling down can even make you a whole lot happier as well. I am determined to continue these values and pass them down to further generations as they are important to everyone.
By: Hailey Arsenault In the future my goal is to create meaningful pieces of visual art especially film making and video production. I want to use these pieces of art sculpt viewer’s experiences and awareness. My general philosophy on my future is that everyone dies eventually, my goal is to become immortal through the body of my work. I want to be remembered through the work I have created and the hearts and minds that I have impacted. I want to use my skills in video production to make art that I am proud to call an extension of myself. In the future I want to create worlds through my art that others can observe. I don’t know how my future will unravel, no one truly does, but if I spend my days behind a camera or in an editing bay my life will be well spent. These goals keep me from wasting my life toiling away in a cubicle. The future of each individual is erratic, but through strong-willed persistence we are able to reign in the wild unkempt beast that is our future instead of being trampled by it. If I can invoke any real emotions within even one viewer of my art than I will consider the risks involved in pursuing such a career completely worth it. The goal of any meaningful art is to convey a message or emotion, that is one of the philosophies that I plan to pave my future with. My motivations are not trivial things such as money, fame, and approval. My motivations are to make people feel. People now are so overstimulated by the media I feel the need to create something that I feel is different than all the other films and projects being crafted by independent creators or mindlessly manufacture by corporate studios. I have the intense desire to use my future to create cinema like no one has seen before. It may not be globally successful, but if it fulfills my vision than I will feel justified, but never sated. I do not mean to sound ungrateful when I say I will never be satisfied, but it is true. I will never cease striving for improvement. I would not refer to myself as a perfectionist because nothing that I create in my future will be perfect, but it will be meaningful and that is what I want my future to be.
